Signs & symptoms

Neurological effects

Ptosis, slurred speech, peripheral facial nerve paralysis, paralysis of the left medial rectus muscle, slight general muscle weakness (Zaltzman et al. 1984).

Treatment (symptomatic)

Respiratory failure: endotracheal intubation and artificial respiration.

No antivenom available.
